The next time you go to Twitter or Facebook – BEWARE!
There is a new social networking scam lurking around out there. If you type Twitter.com or Facebook.com into your URL – and a survey pops up – DON’T fill it out. It’s a scam. You’ll be offered a big prize for filling out all your information in the survey. If you do – identity thieves will have everything they need to do their dirty work.
The phony survey tends to pop up if you have a typo in the address such as one t in Twitter or one o in Facebook.
