Is it okay to email your thank you note?

Most of us communicate electronically FAR more than with a written letter...

If you’re wondering if it’s okay to send a thank you note email style – that really depends. According to Judith Kallos, founder of NetManners.com, if you’re thanking someone for a small favor like picking up your kids, email is fine – but a phone call would be even better. Thank-yous for gifts or true acts of kindness really need to be handwritten. The time you took to choose a card, write it out, address the envelope and find a stamp conveys sincere gratitude that an email just can’t.
