Coffee is good for you – right? Not for ALL of you...

Drinking coffee isn’t that great for your skin...

According to dermatologist Debra Wattenberg, it acts as a diuretic and dehydrates your skin, which can leave you looking washed out and a bit deflated. If you do drink a lot of coffee, you need to up your intake of water to balance things out.

Coffee ON your skin is a different story though. Body scrubs and treatments containing coffee are all the rage and don’t have the same negative effects on your skin as drinking it. Coffee grinds contain healthy antioxidants and exfoliating power – and you won’t absorb enough caffeine through the skin to pose a problem.
