Change Your Sheets

What color are your bed sheets?

If they’re white – or any other pale color – you’re missing an opportunity to wake up a little easier. Consider switching to hot pink, bright yellow or bold blue sheets. Studies have found that waking up surrounded by a vibrant color triggers an adrenaline surge and could help get you going in the morning.

If you need a little more than that to get you going – have a glass of water on the bedside table ready to drink as soon as you wake up. A cool glass of water on an empty stomach will help kick-start your metabolism and help you feel more alert.
