If you’re ready to stock up on Halloween candy – check out the best and the worst...




Here’s a shocker – the best Halloween candy is actually the worst for us...


Here are the best worst offenders:





• Butterfinger Minis – they’re packed with fat and calories.
• Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin – anything with peanut butter will have more of the good bad stuff.
• Baby Ruth Fun Size – not so fun if you’re on a diet.
• Mounds Fun Size – that coconut filling will fatten you up.
• Starburst Fruit Chews – you’ll be chewing the FAT with these, unlike other fruit candy.
• Twizzlers – these treats have no fat – but the trick is the sugars in there TURN to fat.

If you’d rather not hand out apples or celery sticks – some popular candy is a little better for you. Musketeers Minis have less fat and calories, as do the York Peppermint Patty, Peeps Pumpkins and Tootsie Rolls. Jolly Ranchers and Charms Blow Pops have no fat and Peanut M&Ms actually have some nutrients in there.
