We’d all like to have youthful, glowing skin...

Our skin takes a real beating every day – from the elements AND in the shower...

To preserve or restore some of your healthy glow – your skin will appreciate some of these basics in your shower routine:

• Limit your shower time to 10 minutes and use warm water, not hot. Hot showers actually dehydrate our skin.

• Skip the soap. Harsh deodorant soaps will strip your skin of moisture and cause itching and flaking. You’re better off with a moisturizing body wash.

• Exfoliate in the shower twice a week with a washcloth or loofah. Healthy skin renews itself every 14 to 30 days and exfoliating encourages that.

• Don’t just moisturize – get into it. Instead of just slapping on some moisturizer after a shower – turn that tedious step into a relaxing ritual. Give yourself a few extra minutes to really massage your entire body in a circular motion with warm lotion.
