Knowing the ending of a good book or movie can actually enhance the whole experience. Researchers recently put this plot to the test. Two groups of people were asked to read a best-selling book. One group had to read a spoiler first. It turned out that the spoiler group actually enjoyed the book more. The researchers say that’s because when we know the ending – it allows us to focus more on deeper meanings and plots, acting and writing ability and appreciate some of the nuances we might otherwise miss.
