It’s a much better word than “cheese” for picture taking. Saying cheese actually stretches the mouth into a phony, unflattering smile. Words that end in “ah” will will leave your lips just right and show on the rest of your face. The words mocha and yoga are options, but Grandpa is a safer bet in case the photographer jumps the gun.
If you’re in a situation where calling Grandpa might be awkward, or Grandpa's in the room, try a chuckle instead. If you can make yourself laugh right before the flash, you’ll have the most natural smile in the group.
