Don’t forget to apply antiperspirant - to your feet...

A blister on your foot can ruin your whole day...
Did you know antiperspirant can help prevent them from erupting in the first place? It’s all about friction, and a recent experiment on cadets at West Point Military Academy proved to be a successful drill. Cadets whose feet were treated with antiperspirant before extensive hiking were subject to intense inspection at the end of the day and their feet passed the blister test. They had fewer blisters than the cadets who hiked without the antiperspirant.

Applying antiperspirant to the feet will help prevent moisture down there which reduces friction and your odds of developing a blister. A clear antiperspirant spray is the best option for use on the feet. The experiment also found that cadets who used the foot antiperspirant defense for consecutive days were also more prone to skin irritation, so it’s probably not a good idea to do it every day.
