Does the word “experienced” appear on your resume? Get it out of there...

Everyone is experienced in something - and it should go without saying on your resume...

According to Forbes.com, the word “experienced” shouldn’t be included in the list of achievements or skills on your resume. Just go ahead and launch into the specifics. Two more redundant words a lot of resumes have are “seasoned” and “well-versed.” If you listed the areas in which you’re strong – it’s to be assumed you’re seasoned and well-versed there.

If you’re a team player or customer focused, don’t bother using those phrases either. Those are nothing new and just water down your assets. Go ahead and list activities or accomplishments that portray those qualities in action rather than simply claiming you have them.
