Professional Privacy

Does your company have the right to read your personal emails? Yes - if you typed it at work...

You probably know by now that your company has the legal right to monitor any emails sent from their equipment through their servers. But even if you use your personal email and your own computer – your privacy is not guaranteed. Once you log into your company’s network – it’s possible that you’re installing monitoring software as part of the corporate network login. That software can track every keystroke – even if you never hit send.

If you really need to send something you don’t want your company to see – make sure it’s done with equipment through networks they have no control over.
