Coffee Pods

Those single-serve coffee makers are really popular – and convenient too. So should you get one?

If you drink a lot of coffee, probably not. Those pods are expensive. You’ll pay about 2 to 3 times more per cup than you would with a drip maker – and freshly ground coffee is not an option.

They’re not particularly environmentally friendly either. Every time you brew a cup you’re left with that plastic pod and foil wrapping which can’t be recycled.
