Eat Raisins

Raisins are bad for your teeth – right? Wrong....

Apparently, raisins have been getting a bad rap for a long time. For decades experts have been accusing them of causing cavities. New research from the University of Illinois says not only do they NOT cause cavities – they actually help prevent them. There’s an acid in raisins that helps to protect tooth enamel and scrub away plaque. Raisins also have antibacterial compounds that help fight gingivitis.
