If your mom, sister or female friend seem to know how you feel more than the males in your life, it’s no coincidence – it’s testosterone. A recent study found that higher levels of testosterone can interfere with a man’s ability to pick up on emotional and subtle facial cues. To prove the theory, researchers gave women a dose of testosterone and put them to the test figuring out how other people felt. They failed too.
