What are you doing after work? Where everyone else is going...

Are you going straight home after work?

Most Americans will. The Bureau of Labor Statistics released their latest survey on how American use their down time and here are the results:

* The most popular activity is sleeping. That falls into the personal care category which accounts for the majority of our down time.

* While awake, watching television eats up the most leisure time, about 2.5 hours on average.

* Household chores such as cleaning and yard work take 3rd place.

* We all have to eat and drink and Americans spend about an hour and a half consuming stuff each day.

* Shopping is fun, and we’re good for about 43 minutes of that.

* Caregiving makes up for another 40 minutes or so, on average.

* We spend another half hour on work or education, after work or school.

* Religious and civic duties eat up the last half hour of your down time.
