If you’d like your marriage to be happier - consider a 3rd person...

Do you and your partner bicker too much?

A third person perspective could make you both happier. A team of psychologists put an exercise called the third-party perspective to the test on married couples over the course of two years - and it definitely helped. Any couple can take the third party approach but it will require some practice. The exercise involves listening to yourself and your partner from a neutral third-party perspective. What would that third person say about your relationship, arguments and sense of fair play? Couples who participated in the study said that imaginary third person helped both parties stay on track, fight fair and resolve conflicts before they got out of hand.
