The next time you eat mushrooms, put them in the sun first...

Mushrooms can deliver as much vitamin D as a supplement - IF you let them sit in the sun for a while...

Food scientists exposed some shrooms to some summer sun for about 60 minutes and found that it significantly spiked the levels of vitamin D. The sun exposure works on any variety of mushroom and you’ll still get the dose of D even if they’re cooked.
