Catherine Darley, director of the Institute of Naturopathic Sleep Medicine in Seattle, says this relaxation technique is very effective at helping us transition from wake to sleep. It works out some of the kinks and sends sleep messages from head to toe.
Curl your toes tightly four a count of 7 and then relax. Repeat your toe curl a few times and continue up your legs through the muscle groups if you’re still awake.
