People who are happy reduce their risk of heart attack and stroke by up to 50%!
That’s the good news from researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health. Our happy goal should be to increase our overall feeling of optimism and satisfaction – and every smile or warm and fuzzy moment helps. Just making an effort to think of something positive or talk to someone who makes you smile a few times each day can lower your risk. Every time you shake a bad mood or stave off negative thoughts you’re actually reducing stress and giving your immune system a positive boost.
