Can’t get rid of those hiccups? Some new tricks to try...


You’ve tried holding your breath and drinking water upside-down – but you can’t shake those annoying hiccups...

You might want to consider massaging them away. Self-massage can help to relax the phrenic or vagus nerves – which send the hiccup signal from your irritated diaphragm to your brain.

To perform the hiccup massage – you’ll need to massage the front part of the neck and chest area right below the collarbone for 5 solid minutes. 

If that doesn’t work, try eating some peanut butter or cream cheese. Swallowing sticky peanut butter will massage those same key nerves from the inside
