Whether your waiting for your iPhone 5 to arrive, or you’re on the old fashioned one, there are some really handy apps you can download for free... 

Some of them work with the iPad and Android phones too. Here’s the list from Mashable:

• iRuler: You’ll never have to guess again with this pocket ruler.

• Flashlight: It’s super handy and will direct the flash on your phone to stay on in a pinch. And yes, it will drain your battery, so use it sparingly.

• Bump: This one lets you literally bump another device to share photos, contacts or information. Bump your phone with your friend or with your computer and in 5 to 10 seconds, your transfer is there.

• Find My Car: Activate this app before you leave your car and it will guide you back later via GPS and satellite map in real time as you walk. It will even display the best route.

• Decide Now: Spin the virtual wheel to help you decide where to go tonight, where to vacation, which stocks to buy and more.
