Does your child snore? Why that could be problematic...

We know that snoring has been linked to some health problems in adults...

...and new studies suggest it could lead to behavioral issues in children. Researchers looked at children from birth to age 7 and found that kids who snore or breathe with their mouths open were more likely to have behavior problems at about age 4. By age 7, they were more likely to be hyperactive and had higher rates of depression, anxiety and ADHD.

If your child snores, it’s important to discuss that with your pediatrician. Some experts believe that removing kids’ tonsils or adenoids could improve their breathing, sleep and behavior during the day.
