Not only does it help with digestion and immunity, new research says it can even help us burn some fat. It turns out that piperine, a compound in black pepper; supresses a gene that helps fat cells develop.
You won’t need to pour the pepper on to get the benefits, even just a sprinkle will work. And it doesn’t matter if your pepper is pre-ground or freshly ground – they’ve both got the same benefits.
