If you work at a desk, wiggle your toes.

If you have a long commute or a long work day at a desk, get in the habit of wiggling your toes.

Sitting for long periods of time takes a toll on your lower legs. When we don’t keep the blood pumping from our legs to our heart and back we put undo pressure on the veins in the lower legs. Getting up to stretch or walk around is a must if you spend a lot of time sitting – and just wiggling your toes in between can help with the circulation.

If you really want to do your feet and lower legs a favor, kick of your shoes and give your toes a workout. Pulling and massaging the toes helps stimulate circulation when you don’t have room or time to walk around.
