If you were going to cheat on your diet – what would it be?


If you think ice cream or pizza tempts more people to cheat on their diets, you’d be wrong. 

The number one diet buster is… alcohol! Researchers tracked a group of dieters who agreed to fess up with every slip and they found a definite trend. The most likely cheating time was at night and more often than not they were cheating with alcohol. The majority of dieters said that naughty drink was harder to resist than a sweet treat or dessert.

The researchers also found that cheating on your diet with a cocktail can do more damage than you think. Diet willpower tends to buckle under the influence of alcohol and drinking cheaters were more apt to go rogue for the night.
