What type of car do you drive – personality-wise?

It’s no mistake some cars look friendly, angry or intimidating...

Automobile designers take that into consideration, especially where front-end design is concerned. Certain auto-expressions can have a big impact on who might buy a particular model. Some classic examples are the Volkswagen Beetle with its wide-eyed headlights and curved hood, resembling a smiling child – cute, not dominant. And the sporty Ford Mustang with its long hood and narrow headlights projects adult male features exuding dominance and aggression.

Not only does your car’s personality type usually reflect your own a bit – it says something to the drivers around you too. We’re more likely to let a dominant car pass when we see it approaching in the rear-view mirror – and we tend to make room for that cute, submissive car to merge in front of us.
