Soon, your social media friends and family will be able to see your – WEATHER! The Weather Channel just announced it wants to build a weather alert system based on social media. You’re already able to Tweet or post weather warnings – but the Weather Channel and Facebook are working together to incorporate weather warnings into Facebook’s open graph.
Eventually, we’ll be able to see weather affecting family members or friends, no matter where they are – and alert them personally if they happen to be in the path of a storm.
