You may not need experience for an entry-level job – but you do need something else...

No experience required for that entry-level position...

Just make sure your communication skills are intact. A recent survey of employers revealed that communication skills were more important to them than education and experience. Communication skills also topped their hardest-to-find list. Here are a few more soft skills employers are looking for:

• Positive attitude
• Adaptable to change
• Teamwork skills

If you are a student or a recent graduate, the survey also revealed that most employers prefer you’ve got at least one internship under your belt and that your courses and recommendations hold more weight than your GPA.
