If you’re not quick on the draw with returning that text or call – think twice before you apologize...
Thanks to modern technology, most of us are reachable at any given time. That can be convenient – until you’re really busy or need some personal or down time. When we apologize for not responding immediately, we suggest that text or call was more important than what we were doing.
If you feel a delayed response requires an explanation, be clear that you were busy doing something equally or more important. Over time, the contacts in your life will stop expecting an immediate response and get the message that you’ll get back to them when you can.
