Since we spend so much time there – it’s only natural our offices are budding with office romances and working relationships. Molly Edwards, of Discovery Fit & Health has the 5 rules of office dating etiquette:
1. Don’t date the boss. It’s considered taboo in the world of office dating. If you ARE the boss – that pretty much rules out anyone in the office for you.
2. Be discreet. Don’t gush about your love and keep your hands to yourself in the office.
3. Hands off the computer too. That quick romantic email or chat from desk to desk is a BAD idea. Anything sent on corporate computer systems could be subject to review.
4. No special favors. Unless your helping everyone out – that extra help on Pookie’s project will be a real turn-off to your co-workers.
5. Stay focused and productive. A new romance can be exciting and distracting - especially if it's just a few cubicles away. Don't let them catch you looking glazed over with hearts in your eyes.
