You know what prunes are really good for?
Your bones! Prunes are one of the best bone-building food sources out there. If you can choke down 10 dried prunes a day, the results will be optimum. If you’re not a big prune fan – or near a bathroom – 3 prunes a day will do.
If you’d like to alternate the prunes with some other bone friendly food – try some pumpkin seeds. All seeds are good but pumpkin seeds are a great source of magnesium. Walnuts, Brazil nuts, beans, fish and dairy are all good for the bones too.
