Think you’re just another face in the crowd? Think again.

You may think you’re traveling or shopping incognito...

...but thanks to new technology, keeping a low profile is getting harder every day. Facial recognition software is already being used in some airports and retail stores to recognize the good, the bad and the ugly. Originally intended to help retailers spot previous shoplifters, facial recognition is now being considered in stores and casinos to identify big spenders and high rollers.

In airports, facial recognition can already be used to fast-track frequent flyers and employees who have already cleared security. And Facebook is already using it in it’s Tag Suggestions feature.
