We’re living longer - but we’re aging faster. Why our parents were better off...

The average lifespan has been steadily on the rise for decades - but it could be on it’s way back down with the next generation...
Aging experts are saying our age 30 is closer to our parent’s age 45. We’re less healthy as a group and more likely to suffer from high blood pressure and diabetes than our forefathers.
Dutch researchers found that today’s men in their 30s are 20% more likely to be overweight than their dads. Women in their 20s are a lot bigger than their mothers. Hauling around all this extra weight will take a toll on quality of life in old age. Experts warn if we stay the course, that average lifespan will be on it’s way back down again with each generation.
