Don’t just plant those flowers - plan your garden like a pro with these apps...

You don’t have to have a green thumb to get your garden growing this year...
There are some great apps on the market that can help you plan, plant and maintain your garden and avoid making some costly mistakes:

* iGarden will give you planting instructions specific to your climate, with suggestions on what to plant, where and when.

* Zone USA will put your geo location in the palm of your hand and tell you which plants to buy and which pests to look out for.

* The Home Depot app is free and has tips and videos. It also lets you know which plants are in stock and you can even order them right from the app.

* GardenPro helps you plan and design your garden and then track it’s progress. It’s even got harvesting tips for fruit and vegetable growers.

* Gardenate will tell you what you can plant right now and what to prepare for next month, specific to your climate.

There’s an app for your sprinkler too. Sprinkler Times is free and will tell you when to water and how much. It will help you program your automatic sprinkling system to save you water and avoid drowning or drying up your investment.
