Have you ever wondered what your dog is dreaming about? So have some scientists...

If you’ve got a dog, you’ve probably caught him or her dreaming...
So what’s all the head and paw twitching about? Researchers have wondered the same thing and have been looking into sleeping dogs’ brains. They believe dogs dream about something that happened that day. About 20 minutes into their sleep cycle, most dogs start to enter that dream phase. This allows them to relax and gives the brain a chance to recount the most stimulating or exciting thing that happened that day. The researchers were able to match up some dreaming movements with recent experiences of the dog such as a bath, a run or a game of tug of war.
