Have a glass of milk with your next meal...


Great news if you like milk...

New research out of Denmark is suggesting that it can actually reduce the amount of fat your body absorbs from a meal. We have the calcium to thank for that. The extra drinkable dose at mealtime acts as a sort of dietary shield against fat. Subjects in the study who drank milk with their meal absorbed up to 19% less fat from the same meal enjoyed with a non-dairy beverage. They also discovered that calcium from real dairy was much more effective than that taken in supplement form.
