Here’s one more reason to get your flu shot: Your dog or cat could get the flu from you!
It's actually pretty common. Symptoms to watch for in dogs and cats are runny nose, fatigue or difficulty breathing. In order to help protect your pet from the flu be sure they are up to date on their vaccines. If you use pet daycare or dog parks, keep an eye on your buddy’s buddies. Dogs can give the flu to each other too. Wash your hands before feeding or handling your pet and remind any family members who are coughing and sneezing to cover their mouths for everyone’s sake.
