63% of households have a pet. So how many share their beds with them?
Tonight will be at least a one-dog night for a LOT of people. A recent survey by Nation Pet Owners says 41% of pet dogs sleep in a people bed – with people. Cats may be more finicky – but their owners aren’t. 51% of them say they let their cat sleep anywhere it wants, which is usually with them.
We humans have a lot furry bed-warmers. The most recent Census Bureau statistics report 74 million pet dogs out there and 90 million pet cats.
