The next time you Google what ails you, your results will look a little different...

Have you ever Googled your mysterious rash or unexplained pain?

80% of web users admit to searching medical symptoms online – and Google wants in on the diagnosis. Now, when you search your symptoms on Google, you’ll see a list of possible ailments with brief descriptions at the top of your results page. Google’s chief health strategist, Ronny Zeiger, says these results are just a suggested guide for gathering information and are certainly no substitute for your doctor. Google’s new medical search is not authored by doctors and is just a compilation of results from trusted websites to help you narrow your search.
