According to a survey of women worldwide, the French finished fourth this time. The new official sexiest accent out there is – an Irish brogue. Here are the runners up:
2nd place: Italian
3rd place: Scottish
4th place: French
5th place: Australian
6th place: English
7th place: Swedish
8th place: Spanish
9th place: Welsh
10th place: American
According to a spokesman for OnePoll, the Irish have Colin Farrel to thank for their steamy first place finish – and the French have bad-boy President Nicholas Sarkozy to blame for their lack of sex appeal this time around.
