One bad orange can spoil the whole bunch.

If you spot a little mold on one of your oranges – toss the whole bunch.

Mold spreads fast in citrus fruit and you can’t always see it. Eating this mold could make you ill. With soft fruit, like peaches, plums and nectarines – you have a little more leeway. If it’s a small soft or moldy spot, just cut it away and enjoy the rest. If a large portion of the fruit is too soft, mold has invaded all the way through and you’re better off skipping it. With tomatoes, if you see brown spots on the outside or brown seeds inside, throw it away.

  1. Um that's NOT true! Oranges have a thick peel, you don't have to throw out the whole bunch, come on now! What are you some idiot billionaire with money to throw?! Maybe toss the 2 next to it, but not the whole bunch. Google it!
