The next time you have a headache – have a sandwich...

Forget the pain reliever – have a tuna salad on rye with mayo, lettuce and tomato...

According to dietician Marcia Grapley, that sandwich can actually decrease the frequency and intensity of migraine headaches. Marcia has a list of sandwiches for what ails us:

• Insomnia: Turkey and cream cheese on pumpernickel bread.

• Lack of energy: Roast beef and Swiss cheese on rye with mustard.

• Pre-workout: Sliced apple and peanut butter on wheat.

• Lack of sex drive: Ricotta cheese, figs, honey and orange slices on wheat bread.

• Hangover: Chocolate and banana sandwich – toasted.

Marcia says “no white bread allowed!” Sandwich cures really need to be served up on wheat, rye, whole grain or pumpernickel.
