Go ahead, have some eggnog...
It’s in season – and it actually has some nutritional value. The eggs in there are rich in choline, a compound that boosts the nervous system’s ability to transmit messages and keep muscles moving. You’ll even be getting vitamins A, B-12, C and D, calcium, magnesium and potassium. Just keep in mind that you’ll also be getting over 300 calories per serving – and you can add another 100 calories per jigger or rum. We’re better off with light eggnog, un-spiked.
