Are you a dog person – or a cat person?
Most people can be categorized as dog people or cat people – even if they don’t own one. Researchers at the University of Texas asked participants to categorize themselves as one or the other - and then tested their personalities. The results:
- The dog people scored higher in extraversion and conscientiousness - and were more social and agreeable.
- The cat people scored higher in neuroticism and creativity - and were more open minded and philosophical.
