That infamous 7 year itch has now been downgraded to 3 years. It’s the average time that goes by in a marriage or relationship before the passion starts to die and things could go sour. According to new British research, stress levels in most relationships now tend to peak at the 36 month mark. They say that’s about the time when couples tend to take each other for granted or get on each other’s nerves.

Researcher Judi James says money worries and longer working hours are taking a toll on modern relationships. She says they’re also starting to see a definite trend for solo holidays and weekends apart.
