Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night… Why Saturday’s will be a postal problem...

It’s the unofficial postal creed: Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds...

Saturdays, on the other hand, will pose a problem for the Postal Service. In order to save money the U.S.P.S is discontinuing Saturday delivery of mail to homes and businesses. If you’ve got a P.O. Box, you’re in luck. The Post office will still be open on Saturday’s and will continue to process packages and mail there. You’ll still be able to say hello to your mail carrier on Saturday’s for a while. The five day delivery plan is expected to begin in August.
