How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Do you LOVE shoes? If you’re an American woman, you’re not alone...

According to Shop Smart Magazine, the average American woman owns 17 pairs of shoes. Some other polls put that number closer to 25.  Here are some other shoe stats from the survey:

• Average amount spent on one pair: $50

• If you spent over $100, don’t feel too bad. 33% of women do that.

• Flats are the favorites. Almost 40% of women prefer them.

• If you can walk in heels 4 inches or higher, you’re special. Only 25% of women have mastered that skill.

• 35% of women have admitted that uncomfortable shoes have ruined an event.
