Could your neighbor or co-worker be a dangerous person?

We don’t have the luxury of choosing our neighbors or co-workers – and one of them COULD be dangerous...

Mary Ellen O’Toole, former FBI profiler and author of “Dangerous Instincts,” says we need to pay attention to the behavior of people around us. Here are some warning signs that someone could be a bit “off”…

• Inappropriate anger: Most people control their anger when they’re around people they don’t know very well. That anger could escalate when he or she knows you better.

• Publicly embarrassing others: Someone who dresses down another person in public could lack empathy to care about others, including you.

• Perceived injustices: Some people see their lives as a never-ending string of wrongs being done to them. They may lash-out or “snap” over something seemingly insignificant. Avoid anyone who chronically complains about a litany of injustices.
