When is the last time you flew a kite?
April is historically a pretty breezy month – which is why it was chosen as National Kite Month. It’s a great excuse to dust off your old kite, or build or buy a new one. Kite flying is fun for all ages and some fresh air, strategic maneuvering and moderate exercise are all good for you too.
There are kite flying events planned all over the country this month – you can go to NationalKiteMonth.org to find one, or plan one of your own. Even if you don’t care to fly your own kite, you can take in some really impressive designs and skills of avid flyers.
