Got Mice?

Got Mice? There’s one way to find out...

Sprinkle talcum powder or flour along the walls where you think they might be – and wait a few days. If you’ve got them you’ll see tracks. Now that it’s getting colder outside, they’ll be looking for a nice warm house. Mice can fit through an opening the size of a dime. Check around the exterior of your house for any openings – along the foundation and about two feet off the ground. If you find a potential entry, seal it with something gnaw-proof – cement or mortar – steel wool for smaller crannies. Once you’ve secured the outside, check the same area from the inside, and keep that steel wool handy for any tiny gaps you might find.
